What does an international student mean?


At ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, we classify international students as individuals who will require an F-1 nonimmigrant visa classification to pursue educational opportunities within the United States. Any legal and permanent residents of the United States or U.S. territories – as well as other naturalized citizens – are not classified as international students.  As an ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ resident international student, you're a part of our extended family.


Does ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ provide any international student orientation?


Our virtual International Engagement Events are specifically designed to provide critical insight on how international students from your region of the world can apply and attend ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ. This is an exclusive opportunity to hear directly from ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ faculty regarding our audition process and other international student news. It’s free to attend – be sure to sign-up if you’re interested in applying!


In addition to our virtual IEE series, there are a variety of ways we help international students adjust to their new life in the United States while they pursue their education. Both our NY and LA campuses have a designated International Student Advisor (ISA).


Each campus has a dedicated International Student Advisor (ISA)/Designated School Official (DSO). During international student orientation, the ISA/DSO will explain immigration regulations and your reporting responsibilities as an F-1 student. Your ISA maintains office hours to address your questions and concerns, as well as assist in the day-to-day lifestyle changes you may face as a student in a new culture. Your advisor can explain processes and etiquette in the U.S. educational system and direct you to other campus representatives that can appropriately advise and/or assist you.


Are scholarships available for international students at ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ?


Yes, ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ scholarships for international students are available! International students are eligible for scholarship opportunities within ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ. Following your audition, you’ll be considered for a possible talent-based scholarship. In addition, ÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ also offers International Student grants and Need Based Scholarships.
